2:30 is the new 5

I absolutely LOVE getting off at 2:30. Getting those 8 work hours in, and still having the whole day. I got home around 3 and since it was a gorgeous afternoon went for a run. The boyfriend met me on the trails with his bike and I mostly ran and he biked. We alternated a few times in prep for our race on Sunday! I ended up doing around 5 miles at a nice pace that worked me but didn’t burn me out, so that I totally could have kept going. Part of me wanted to!

We came back to my house to fresh baked chocolate biscotti courtesy le madre. Stuff is GOOD. We hung out for a while in our tired sweaty state looking through cookbooks. Oh! And did it mention that our team name for our race on Sunday is: TEAM FOOD. I love it.

Anyway, I didn’t go to kickboxing tonight. The lack of sleep and long run tuckered me out, so I just made an “everything in the fridge salad” – EFS

Took some corn from the BBQ, Leftover roasted veggies, yellow pepper, green onion, spinach, lettuce, salt+pep, lemon juice and a drizzle of honey. I was scared to try the honey and lemon but it was really good!

Freshness

Now I’m just catching up on some stuff because there’s never enough time to do it all! I’m super excited for the weeks to come.
